Peer Review Process
IAIC Transactions on Sustainable Digital Innovation (ITSDI)
IAIC Transactions on Sustainable Digital Innovation (ITSDI) evaluates manuscripts in accordance with its author guidelines, journal scope, and publication ethics. All eligible submissions undergo a double-blind peer-review process, in which authors and reviewers do not know each other's identities.
The Editor-in-Chief assigns an editor to coordinate screening, independent review, and editorial decisions through the official submission system.

Stages of the Peer Review Process
| 01 |
Initial Submission and Desk Screening Action: Authors submit manuscripts through OJS. The editor checks the journal's focus and scope, template, completeness, originality, ethical standards, and similarity report. The maximum similarity threshold is 20%, subject to editorial assessment of the matched content. Possible Outcomes: Proceed to peer review, return for correction, or desk rejection. |
| 02 |
Double-Blind Peer Review Action: Eligible manuscripts are assigned to at least two qualified, independent reviewers under the double-blind system. Evaluation Criteria: Originality, scientific contribution, methodology, relevance to sustainable digital innovation, clarity, and research integrity. Output: Independent review reports and recommendations, with a target of up to 14 working days. |
| 03 |
Editorial Decision and Revision Action: The editor considers the reviewer reports and decides to accept, request minor or major revision, or reject the manuscript. Revision: If revisions are required, authors resubmit the revised manuscript and point-by-point responses within 7 days. Further review may be requested when necessary. |
| 04 |
Acceptance and Final Publication Action: After final acceptance, the journal issues an Electronic Letter of Acceptance (E-LOA). The article proceeds through copyediting, layout, proofreading, DOI registration, and open-access publication on the ITSDI website, according to the journal's April or October issue schedule. |
Peer Review Ethics and Confidentiality
Editors and reviewers must maintain confidentiality, declare conflicts of interest, and evaluate manuscripts fairly and objectively. Manuscript content and review reports must not be disclosed or used for personal benefit.
In line with ITSDI's Generative AI Policies, editors and reviewers must not use generative AI tools to assess confidential manuscripts, write peer-review reports, or make editorial decisions.
Final Editorial Authority: The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision based on independent review recommendations, scientific merit, and ITSDI's ethical and editorial standards. Review periods may vary when further evaluation or revision rounds are necessary.
